## How these numbers are derived

Every figure comes from the same public scoring described under [How it works](https://ai-agent-ready.com/check/how-it-works). No text is parsed and nothing is estimated; the shares are thresholds on the per-area results, expressed as a share of the points that were applicable in that run:

- **Names AI crawlers explicitly**: AI crawler access reaches 80 % or more of its applicable points.
- **Working llms.txt**: llms.txt reaches 80 % or more, which requires a real 200, a text content type and no HTML soft 404.
- **Near-empty without JavaScript**: JavaScript dependency stays below 40 %, which means well under 1,500 characters of visible text without JavaScript.
- **No structured data**: structured data scores zero, meaning no usable JSON-LD on the homepage.
- **All agent basics in place**: agent basics reaches the full applicable score.
- **Provable search-index verification**: a Google or Bing verification was found in DNS or in the HTML. Domains verified by file upload or Tag Manager are invisible to us and are counted as unverified here, so treat this figure as a floor rather than a headcount.
- **Usable product data**: among domains that sell something at all, those whose feed & product data reaches 60 % or more.

Domains are counted once, using their most recent scan. Scans are anonymous: we store the domain, the score and the check results, never who ran the scan.

**One discontinuity you should know about.** In September 2026 the check moved from five areas to 9, and the weighting of the original five changed with it. Scores from before that point were calculated on a different scale, so the aggregates on this page count only scans run under the current scoring. That is why the sample here can be smaller than the total number of scans we have ever run. We would rather show a shorter history than average two scales together and call the result a trend.
