## What we found

### 5% of the market panel and 2% of the index panel meet the crawler-access threshold.

This check looks for named AI crawlers in robots.txt and for matching responses to crawler and browser requests. It does not establish why a company allows or restricts access. Assessable on 185 of 185 in the market panel and 373 of 373 in the index panel.

### 58% of the market panel and 70% of the index panel have no usable homepage JSON-LD.

These companies scored zero on the structured-data check. Product details or contact information may still exist in page text or other formats. Assessable on 185 of 185 in the market panel and 373 of 373 in the index panel.

### 35% return little content before JavaScript runs.

Clients that read the initial HTML may miss content loaded later by scripts. Assessable on 185 of 185 companies.

### Finance & insurance leads Travel by 20.7 points.

The segment vocabularies differ by panel: business models in the market panel, stock sectors in the index panel. This compares groups inside each panel, not whole industries.

### Europe averages 5.1 points more than Japan.

The mix of companies differs between regions, so this compares the panels as selected, not the regions as a whole.

### 32 of 185 in the market panel and 19 of 373 in the index panel score at least 70.

These companies reach the highest score band on the technical check. The score measures applicable public website signals; it does not test whether an AI assistant recommends the company or completes a purchase.

## Methodology

Every company was measured with AgentReady Check at https://ai-agent-ready.com/check. It assesses public technical signals: crawler access, HTML before JavaScript, agent basics, search verification, llms.txt, structured data, feeds, actions and distribution. It does not measure AI recommendations or completed transactions. A domain may appear in both panels. The selected groups do not represent all websites in either region.

This edition uses scoring version 2. Comparisons require the same version. If the method changes, the previous panel must be rescored before a trend can be reported.

Only the top 10 of a group are named, and only where the group is at least twice that size, to protect the remaining companies. Other individual scores stay private. Segments with fewer than 5 companies are left out entirely.
